Pop goddesses Aubrey O’Day and Shannon Bex of dumblonde have begun teasing their sophomore album and from the looks of it, the sound is going to be disco. Over the last week the ladies have been posting several clips on Instagram of music they’ve been recording in the studio with many clues to the album’s aesthetic including disco balls.

I shouldn’t have to remind any of you that dumblonde dropped the best pop album of 2015 with their self-titled debut and the best remix album of 2016, which you can stream here. Along with the debut album, the girls dropped several visuals that DID NOT come to play. “Dreamsicle” was my fav and you can watch it below. Perhaps the most impressive part of dumblonde’s formation was that Aubs and Shannon successfully broke away from the heartbreak and controversy of Danity Kane to create a tour de force album full of sparkling gems. And – they did it all independent from a label.
The REAL question this hunty has is: can dumblonde release their sophomore album before Carly Rae Jepsen also drops a disco album guaranteed to end several gays lives and snatch weaves? No wig is safe in 2018!
PS – Aubrey, sis, I know you read this blog. Release the second solo album! My edges are still gone from “Between Two Evils”.
